Rates
Psychological Evaluation Fees:
Psychological evaluations (mitigation, competency to stand trial, mental health diversion, and immigration) fees range from $200 to $400 an hour depending on the service requested with certain evaluations charged at a flat rate. See rate sheets below for more information.
QME evaluations are billed per California Medical-Legal Fee Schedule.
Individual Therapy Fees:
An initial therapy session is called an intake session, can only be scheduled once and lasts approximately 60 minutes. A typical individual session will last 50 minutes and a “double-session” lasts 90 minutes. A double-session needs to be scheduled in advance. The fee for both an intake session and an individual session is $200. The fee for a double session is $350. Dr. Guardado-Soto does not accept insurance. A superbill can be issued when requested.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for psychological treatment and psychological evaluation services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of your healthcare services, including psychological evaluations.

Scheduling
